To improve the lives of our members through a holistic approach to wellness by providing a variety of fitness classes (strength training, stretch and mobility, cardio/aerobic, balance, barre, yoga and meditative) as well as personal training and lifestyle medicine workshops that together are focused on improving the physical and mental aspects of our well-being.
Owned by a Doctor of Physical Therapy and managed by an Exercise Scientist who combined have 25 years of experience helping people learn to move well, when you become a member at Hive Fusion Fitness you know that you will be getting proper instruction and extra attention on your form and technique when needed to ensure you are getting the most out of your workouts without risk of overuse or injury.
Our studio is designed to promote a peaceful, uplifting and welcoming environment, with amenities such as a water and tea station, private space for biometric assessments and indoor/outdoor spaces for members to relax and socialize. Located in downtown Lemont, we are conveniently located near your favorite coffee shop and can be a great meet up spot before heading out for a walk along the canal trail.

Specifically, Qigong is a practice that encourages energy circulation through the body. Flowing energy manifests as vibrancy and vitality, whereas poor circulation of energy reveals itself as disease and illness. Some of the many benefits of Qigong include reduction of stress, enhanced immune system function, improved strength and mobility, deeper and more restful sleep, mental health support, and spiritual discovery.
60-minute classes will incorporate a combination of gentle dynamic movements and static postures performed with breathing techniques and intentions. Through working with foundational and traditional Qigong concepts, and by embodying the essence of the movements and postures, we will cultivate and harness life-force energy to harmonize and heal the physical, mental and spiritual being within you. *note you will be standing for the duration of this class- a chair is available upon request.
